I also have the exact same issue with another iMac that has a M380, so that raises my suspiction it's something to do with that line of video cards. The reason why I suspect it is the video card is because with 4k footage and lumetri effects the GPU is getting heavy use, and the other iMacs here that have different video cards don't have the same issues with the same projects, which makes it seem like the software doesn't like the particular hardware of this iMac. ![]() I have clean installed twice now, the time before last was with Sierra and this time with Mojave and I have run Apple diagnostics test four times and it says everything is fine. Happens multiple times a day when editing on the machine. Usually if it's 4K footage or heavy Lumetri adjustments. Sometimes just editing in Premiere will cause a crash or kernel panic and sometimes rendering in AME will cause a crash or kernel panic. It's a late 2015 iMac, 27-inch 3.2ghz i5 with 24Gb RAM, 1TB Fusion drive, and an AMD Radeon R9 M390 2GB Not sure if anyone has had any similar problems, but I am wondering if anyone thinks it is to do with the video card. Hi there, I have been having major issues with Premiere and AME to the point that I have had to start using an entirely new machine just to get any work done. ![]()
